The APACHA International Secretariat office is located in the premise of the Nepal Institute of Development Studies (NIDS), Kathmandu, Nepal. NIDS as the host organization has been providing financial, administrative, and logistic and management support to the APACHA International Secretariat. International Secretariat is accountable to the International Coordination Committee that was formed in December 2004. Prabodh Devkota holds the responsibility of the Asia Coordinator for the over all management, facilitation, coordination and communication at Asia and International levels. The International Secretariat coordinates with all national APACHA chapters in Asia, external stakeholders, media, policy and other social movements in the region.

At present Action Aid Asia and its country programs in different countries of the Asia region have been providing financial support to run the International Secretariat and country chapters. However, increasingly APACHA is moving towards mobilizing other funding agencies.

The International Secretariat operates independently to take decisions and actions in the Region. To facilitate the smooth functioning of the International Secretariat, a team, representing different constituencies has been formed.
