NEW DELHI: The Delhi High Court has directed the Union Government to bear the entire cost of treatment of an HIV-positive minor patient at Ranchi in Jharkhand, holding it responsible for administering HIV-infected blood to him.
› UN holds High-Level Meeting on AIDS
The United Nations held a conference on AIDS this week to review the progress made in implementing the 2001 Declaration of Commitment and the 2006 Political Declaration, which set global targets for the response to the epidemic.
